This independent organization is driven by the desire to improve the human urban experience and to provide the stage for all visionaries on which to voice their aesthetic opinions. Currently focused on Boston, we are initiating a movement in innovative, progressive design and development. It is our intent to use this critical moment provided by the current recession to stop, think, and re-envision the urban realm. We are here to move Boston forward.

Launched in June 2009, the SHIFTboston blog has been visited by users from over 90 countries. This blog intends to inspire by sharing a wide range of fresh concepts and ideas related to urban environments all over the world and by highlighting professionals at the forefront of future cities, design and innovation. The wide range of topics covered includes pioneer thinking in sustainability, renewable energy, urban innovation and progressive design.
